Aerobic

Aerobic. The American College of Sports Medicine defines aerobic exercise as any activity that uses large muscle groups, can be maintained continuously, and is rhythmic in nature. Aerobic means "with oxygen", and refers to the use of oxygen in a muscle's energy-generating process. Running and cross-country skiing are examples of aerobic exercises.
